Mon 4th Aug WW1 Memorial Service
St Timothy’s Church, Slinn St, 7 pm.
As many of you will know this year marks the centenary of the start of WW1, Britain entered this war on August 4th 1914 and a great number of Crookes lads joined up in the following months, many of whom were never to return.
The memorial to these men is in St Timothy’s Church on Slinn Street. St Timothy’s will be holding a short service on Mon August 4th 7pm to remember these brave men.
