Western Road Street Trees from Sheffield City Council
Western Road First World War Memorial
A Cross Party Councillor Working Group has been asked to gather information and evidence to inform recommendations to be put to Sheffield City Council about the future of the Western Road First World War Memorial. The Group was set up in response to a petition to Sheffield City Council.
We would like to invite members of the public to one of our drop-in sessions to hear the views of local people in relation to the War Memorial on Western Road and what was known as Gillott Street. Councillors representing the Working Group will be at both drop-in sessions.
Community Evidence Drop-in Sessions
Thursday 6th April 2017
2:30 to 4:30 pm at St Timothy’s Community Hall, Slinn Street, S10 1NZ
5:00 to 7:00 pm at Crookes Social Club, Mulehouse Road, S10 1TD
You don’t need to book in advance.
Once it has finished gathering information, the Group will then draft its recommendations. These will be shared with the Economic & Environmental Wellbeing Scrutiny Committee, before being presented back to Sheffield City Council to make a final decision.
